Specialist Behaviour Support

& Allied Health services

About  Lynks

Lynks is a Support Coordination, Behaviour Support & Allied Health Provider.

Lynks was established in 2019. Many of us have a long history of working within the Child Protection and Disability Sector.

We understand individuals and families can experience complex life situations and that often it takes a focused and person-centred stakeholder approach to gain positive outcomes.

We work with adults and children living with disability in the Greater Brisbane (Qld) and Newcastle (NSW) areas, but we are registered Australia-wide.  We have options to assist Participants in other locations, including Telehealth.

Our  Services

Support Coordinators work with you to help you understand and manage your NDIS Plan funded supports in order to meet your identified Goals. Support Coordinators help support you to plan and make informed decisions about what you need to maintain relationships, live more independently and be included in your community.

Lynks provides Level 2 and Level 3 Support Coordination services.

Physiotherapists can help with treatment and management of physical and mobility difficulties, preserving and improving function, pain, incontinence, and chronic diseases. A physiotherapist may visit you at home for a treatment session, at the pool for hydrotherapy or may prescribe a movement or exercise program to help you improve mobility and strength.

Specialist Behaviour Support services focus on the safety, dignity and rights of people with disability through Positive Behaviour Support. Behaviour Support Practitioners assess and put strategies or plans in place to improve quality of life and manage any risks associated with the use of Restrictive Practices.

Lynks' Practitioners are registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission.

Occupational Therapists help a person to engage in the meaningful things they need and want to do in their life. They focus on developing independent skills through modifying the activity or the environment to suit the person's needs, complete Functional Capacity Assessments, assess a person's sensory differences or assist with positive behaviour support interventions.

Speech Pathologists assist a person's communication needs, and address barriers to functional communication. Speech Pathologists also assess for mealtime difficulties with eating, drinking and swallowing and may develop Mealtime Plans to help keep a person safe and well.
